Arsenal may be log leaders on both the Premiership and the Champions league group but one area which they are lacking is the striking department with Giroud being their only out and out striker. It is this situation which led to Bendtner being recalled to the first team however he does not really bring fear to opposition, he is not as lethal as required.
Wenger pursued Suarez for much of the summer transfer window which turned to no success, in the January transfer window he will definitely be looking at finding someone who will put Arsenal into the next gear.
Players like Suarez,Benzema and Demba Ba are thought to be target, however I think the only missing piece to Arsenal’s puzzle is Javier Hernandez. “The little pea” as the Mexican is affectionately known can bring a lot into the team; he is fast, great aerial ability and is also a proven scorer.
Here is a player who scored 20 premier league goals in his debut season, he has since managed to score 51 goals in 121 apps. He is forth on Moyes’ Strikers packing order, below Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck.
A move to Arsenal can benefit both Arsenal and the player, personally I think Wenger should go Chicharito instead of any of the above mentioned targets simply because he is a proven scorer in the premier league and relatively younger than all those players which means he can still improve. I am sure he should be available for £20 million which would be a bargain purchase.
