A brace by Kingston Nkhatha helped Kaizer Chiefs to a
comfortable 3-0 win over Black Africa in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Saturday evening.

Mandla Masango broke the deadlock through a superb volley but it was Kingston Nkatha who had a game of his life and in turn silencing the boo boys after he scooped a brace. Fans are starting to warm up to the Zimbabwean after a string of good performance, overall Amakhosi continue to be a bunch of winners.

Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter made no fewer than five changes to the side that beat SuperSport United 1-0 in midweek.

Baxter chose to rest some of his first-team regulars, with the likes of Bernard Parker, Siphiwe Tshabalala,Willard Katsande and Reneilwe Letsholonyane included
on the bench.

The second leg will be played at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek on 15 February.

kaizer Chiefs- A Bunch Of Winners

who can stop the kaizer train packed with a bunch of winners?

who can stop the kaizer train packed with a bunch of winners?

By Daniel Chokoe

When bafana Bafana bowed out of the CHAN tournament which they hosted, Sports minister came out with harsh words by labelling them “bunch of losers”, in the same breathe I came up with the best fitting team for Kaizer Chiefs “a bunch of winners”

Kaizer Chiefs defeated Supersport Utd 1-0 lastnight to extend their winning streak to 9 games. The log leaders won the game through a Bernard Parker freekick and maintained the 11 points margin at the top.

A nine game winning streak is something special especially if it happens in the ever competitive PSL where any team can beat another, Chiefs have been up against top teams however they still got maximum points from those games.

The Amakhosi outfit that is lead by Stuart Baxter might just turn out to be the best Chiefs team ever, they will be participating in the CAF champions league and judging by the way they are playing they can definetly be considered as one of the favourites.

I believe we are really blessed to live in the same era where we are witnessing the best Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates in history respectively.

Ofcourse some people will claim that the current Pirates team is not the best as they have not won the champions league, although that is correct they won treble trophies in two consecutive seasons and went close to winning the champions league as they lost out in the final to Al Ahly.

Can anyone stop Baxter’s high flying train?
